The Technology team partners with the business to deliver reliable, scalable digital products and platforms that support Scentre Group’s operations and customer experiences. As a Senior Engineer – Quality, you will play a key role in strengthening engineering quality across digital solutions by embedding robust testing and quality practices throughout the delivery lifecycle. You will work closely with engineers, product managers and delivery teams to ensure solutions are resilient, secure and customer‑focused. This role supports our purpose by helping deliver trusted digital experiences for customers and the business.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
• Defining and implementing testing strategies across digital products and enterprise platforms
• Designing, building and maintaining automated testing frameworks to improve coverage and delivery confidence
• Embedding functional, integration, regression and non‑functional testing into the development lifecycle
• Partnering with engineering and product teams to identify quality risks early and drive preventative practices
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing and improving release readiness
This role is a fixed term 12-month contract.
What sets you apart
We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer with a strong technical focus and an engineering mindset.
- Strong manual testing expertise across mobile web and native applications (iOS & Android)
- Solid experience in API Integration testing, including analysing requests, responses and defining automated integration test scripts
- Proven ability to assess and analyse functional and technical systems, including network traffic and data flows
- Confident using browser tools (Chrome DevTools)
- Hands‑on experience with API tools like Postman, Insomnia, Yaak, and automated test experience using Playwright
- Experience with BrowserStack Test Management or similar test management tooling
