Your opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at Westfield Doncaster as a Car Park Supervisor. As the parking experience is often the first and last impression for our customers, you’ll lead a well-established team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment to deliver a safe, seamless and high-performing operation.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving team performance, culture and accountability. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations while using data and insights to improve efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
Working closely with the Services Manager, you’ll drive operational improvements while remaining actively involved on the ground to support your team during peak periods.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting the Car Park team to deliver a safe, efficient and customer-focused operation
- Monitoring performance, analysing car park data and identifying opportunities to improve operations and revenue
- Coordinating maintenance, repairs and system performance across Access Control and Parking Guidance systems
- Partnering with centre teams and the National Parking team to implement operational initiatives and improvements
- Managing reporting, administration and rostering to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Ensuring safety, compliance and traffic management standards are maintained across the car park environment
- Supporting traffic flow and on-ground operations during peak periods to ensure a smooth customer experience
This role is permanent, full-time, based on site at Westfield Doncaster, and operates on a Tuesday to Saturday roster.
What sets you apart
We are seeking a confident, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and is passionate about leading teams to perform at their best. You bring a strong balance of on-the-ground leadership and strategic thinking, with the ability to use data and insights to drive performance and improve operations.
You’re someone who isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves, take ownership and make decisions, while also building a strong team culture through clear communication, coaching and accountability.
Experience within parking operations or a similar environment is highly regarded, along with strong technical capability and a valid driver’s licence.
You will be:
- A proactive “go-getter” who takes ownership and drives outcomes
- A confident decision maker, comfortable managing performance and providing feedback
- Analytical, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends and opportunities
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and operational focus
- A strong communicator who can influence and build relationships across teams
- A hands-on leader who supports the team on the ground when needed
- Resilient and adaptable, able to navigate a range of personalities and situations
