Our Facilities and Risk & Security Teams are vital in maintaining our Westfield Destinations, ensuring the extraordinary experiences we create are in a safe, clean, and comfortable environment daily.
As the Compliance Support Coordinator , you will partner with the Victorian centre teams, to enable the delivery of critical risk and compliance outcomes, while embedding our People Protecting People culture into day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities for this role:
You partner with centre teams, as well as provide support and feedback to the Regional Manager on the delivery of our key risk and compliance outcomes.
- Partnering with centre leadership teams to proactively manage risk, safety and building compliance across day-to-day operations.
- Coordinating and tracking compliance activities, including audits, controls, inspections and action follow-up, with clear reporting to regional leadership.
- Providing insight, guidance and hands-on assistance during critical incidents, authority interactions and emerging compliance issues.
- Working closely with regional and national stakeholders to share best practice, support consistency, and help evolve our compliance approach.
- Supporting the rollout of new compliance processes, training and communications to build capability and understanding across centres.
- Monitoring risk registers and compliance actions to ensure issues are understood, owned and closed out.
- Championing our People Protecting People culture by ensuring compliance is practical, embedded and genuinely lived by our teams.
This role will be required to travel across the Victorian Centres.
What sets you apart from the rest?
You bring a solid understanding of safety, risk and compliance frameworks for technical and building services, ideally backed by experience in Facilities or Risk Management. You will also have:
• Strong attention to detail with a thorough, methodical approach
• Confidence to make sound decisions that support the best business outcomes
• The ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly
• Skill in managing multiple tasks and competing priorities
• Knowledge of building codes, Australian Standards and WHS regulations
• A motivated, team‑focused mindset, comfortable working with and communicating to diverse stakeholders
