Senior Finance Analyst – Development, Design & Construction
Your opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance professional to join our team. The Senior Finance Analyst – Development will be responsible for all aspects of financial analysis relating to the development functions of the Australian portfolio of properties. Ranging from the consolidation of key financial information for Finance Assumptions, Management Reporting (Blackbook), WIP Management, Due Diligence, Valuations, and modelling for project feasibilities. You will gain broad exposure to our DD&C team and work on our Densification projects.
- Build and maintain detailed development Feasibilities and Financial models from ideation through to completion across your portfolio of assets (Retail / Mixed Use).
- Support Investment Decisions with clear scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.
- Partner with Development, Design, Construction, Asset Management and Finance to assess project impacts and optimise returns.
- Proactively monitor cashflows and facilitate Project WIP reviews, ensuring adequate cashflow management for all projects across your portfolio.
- Accurately forecast, budget & report on Project Income, Capital expenditure and other performance metrics for your portfolio with a high degree of accuracy, and ability to articulate key drivers of performance and variance analysis.
- Present project updates, capturing Risks & Opportunities, ensuring clear communication of financial implications.
- Play a key role in the assessment & completion of Asset Transactions as and when required.
- Support the delivery of a range of key strategic initiatives across finance

What sets you apart
We are seeking someone who is curious and likes to collaborate and share ideas and knowledge with others. You will have proven experience in a similar role where you have worked on projects in Design, Development or Construction, perhaps within Property, Consultancy or a large corporate. You are a trusted advisor and strong communicator, able to navigate multiple stakeholder relationships.
You will bring:
- Construction / Property experience (preferred)
- Finance experience across Retail, Residential, Commercial, Mixed Use or Industrial (preferred)
- +5 years’ minimum experience in relevant positions
- Experience in a fast paced, corporate environment
- High attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree
- CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
- Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Excel
- JDE Edwards
- TM1
