Your opportunity
We’re looking for a Payroll Officer to join our team and support the payroll function across Australia and New Zealand.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Westfield destination teams to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time each week. You’ll also collaborate with the broader payroll team to make sure our people are paid correctly and on time — so they can stay focused on delivering great experiences for our customers.
Some of your responsibilities will be:
- Support the Weekly payroll across AU/NZ including but not limited to:
- Accurately processing and checking of both the AU/NZ weekly payrolls
- Interpreting agreements and employment contracts in relation to overtime, penalties, allowances etc. along with assisting with maintaining the awards / agreements.
- Liaising with HR and the business on payroll related matters.
- Payroll Administration in all elements of the employee lifecycle including electronic filing.
- Support the team on general payroll enquires.
- Support payroll reconciliation, banking, month-end and year-end
- Support the team managing user requests/enquires for access to HR systems
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service while maintaining optimal levels of operational efficiency

- Experience in supporting an end-to-end payroll process
- Working knowledge of payroll and timesheet systems
- Understanding of payroll processes
- Ability to interpret awards/enterprise agreements and relevant legislation
- Ability to communicate effectively at all staff levels
